MMA 2019 Annual Meeting & Elections

Published on 9/16/2019
Your Massachusetts Motorcycle Association 2019 Annual Meeting and Elections will be held at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Board Meetings are regularly held at theRose Garden Restaurant, 16 Milford Street (Route 140) in Upton, Massachusetts.

Held every year, the Annual Meeting is a prime opportunity to review our MMA Legislative Agenda, annual Safety & Awareness Programs, and make plans for the upcoming year. It's also a great opportunity for people who haven't or rarely attend Board Meetings to obtain a State of the Association and observe your Board in Action.
Critically important is the election of Board Members. Pursuant to your MMA Bylaws, this year's election will contain the seats for Chairman and Treasurer.

Dave Condon has been serving as the Chairman since 2008, and has made his wishes known that after over 2 decades in various Board positions, he hopes to step aside should viable candidates to replace him be presented. Ron Baldwin was newly elected last year as our Treasurer, filling the seat vacated by Dave Kristal who served in the role with distinction and continues to support your Association as a very active member. Ron has expressed interest in seeking reelection.

All Board Positions, are 3-year terms unless the seated officer vacates the position with the consent of the Board or fills another role on the Board, in which case an affirmed replacement fulfills the seat until the next election cycle.

Any and all members in good standing are welcome at all Board Meetings. Anyone potentially seeking a seat on the Board, should have been a member in good standing for at least one year to assure they have an understanding of our MMA Legislative Agenda as well as other programs.

Anyone seeking a Board position with your MMA is requested to contact Doc D'Errico (ViceChair@MassMotorcycle.org) to state your intentions. Anyone seeking an Area Representative (field) position should contact Rocco Libertine (StateDirector@MassMotorcycle.org).

We hope to see you there!
