MMA To Conduct Voluntary Sound Testing On The North Shore
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
This Saturday, August 15, 2015, the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association will be conducting a voluntary sound test clinic in conjunction with the Towns of Salisbury, Amesbury, and the City of Newburyport, MA. The clinic will take place in the municipal parking lot located on Beach Road (Route 1A) at Broadway, Salisbury, MA from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The purpose of this clinic is to serve as an educational tool for riders and town residents alike. Testing will be performed by MMA representatives in concert with officials from the participating towns. Riders will be issued a certificate from the MMA showing the results of their sound level test. There will be NO enforcement action taken on this day.
Representatives from the MMA will also be available to answer any questions you may have and to pass out informational brochures including the MMA's nationally recognized "When In Town Throttle Down©" campaign, which contains easy to understand explanations of exactly what the “EPA stamp" on motorcycle exhaust is all about. They may also have a few other goodies to pass out! All riders in the area are urged to attend.
