FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MMA Safety & Awareness Update
As previously noted, today begins our annual “Motorcycle Safety Awareness Period” in Massachusetts. We hope you enjoyed the warmer, sunny weather this weekend and trust that everyone rode with respect and awareness.
It’s also an opportunity to help with the awareness campaign to alert other motorists to the presence of Motorcycles on the roadways. One sure way is with the “Check Twice” signs alerting everyone that “Motorcycles are Everywhere”.
Available at no charge to Motorcyclists, you can pick on up from your District Manager and/or at an upcoming District Meeting:
March 23rd at the Bugaboo Creek in Peabody
March 28th at the Jockey Club on Rte 44 in Raynham
…or see:

…for a meeting near you.
MMA Gold Card Member Ironstone Ventures also has some signs available. Please call Joe at 508-278-0172 or send an email to joe@ironstoneventures.com requesting "motorcycles are everywhere" lawn signs and make arrangement for pick-up.
The Safety Awareness Period is also an opportunity to improve your riding skills or at least make plans to do so this season. As a reminder, the MMA is hosting a class on June 13th in Framingham. There are only a few seats left, so secure yours today! For more details, please see:

If you are unable to make those dates, other dates are available through our Gold Card Members, Training Wheels (http://www.trainingwheelsonline.com), Ironstone Ventures (http://www.ironstoneventures.com), or through other Motorcycle Training Sites endorsed by the Massachusetts Rider Education Program (http://www.mass.gov/rmv/motorcycle/training.htm).
